The website and application are the property of Boney App.
Acceptance of our Terms of Use
Access to the services offered by Boney shall be subject to acceptance of the terms described below, which Boney is free to modify at any time and without prior notice. The use of our services implies the treatment of your information as described in our privacy policy. We encourage you to read them. Definitions
In this text, "shared account", "account(s)" and "Boney" have equivalent meanings.
Access conditions
You may not use Boney if we have previously banned your account for violating these terms, or if you are not of legal age to accept the Terms of Use.
As a user of Boney, you must at all times: provide correct data to Boney and to the group participating in the budgets.
The application is not intended for people under the age of 16, and we ask them not to provide any personal information via the application. If your child has submitted personal information and would like to request that this personal information be removed, please contact us at contact@boney.app.
As a Boney user, you agree never to:
- Transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, hateful, racist or otherwise objectionable
- Infringe a patent or registered trademark
- Harm other users
- Harass or manipulate other users
- Intentionally disrupt our services
- Reproduce, copy, sell, resell or exploit our services or access to them for commercial purposes.
Boney is in no way responsible for the accuracy or precision of the data entered by you or your friends in Boney (expenses as well as the names of account participants).
Product description
Boney is a participative or individual budget management tool. Boney allows you to specify expenses in order to calculate what each person owes accordingly and to respect the limits set by the budget owner.
Boney is available online at https://boney.app, but also via mobile applications. Accounts can be shared via a share link.
Tips for making the most of the tool
Set consistent budget limits for everyday personal expenses. Boney is not intended for professional use.
The hypertext link to Boney should only be sent to people who are directly involved in the accounts and who are considered to be sufficiently responsible. Consider this link as the only "key" to access the shared budget.
Appropriate use
Boney is only suitable for family or friend use, i.e. use between members of the same family or between friends. Trust must exist within the group throughout the use of a Boney account.
Boney can also be used for personal use, to manage expenses without interacting with other users.
Intellectual rights
The concept of shared accounts on the Internet or in a mobile application without strict identification (i.e. without a password and login), expressed here under the name "Boney", is protected by copyright. The name Boney and all its logos are registered trademarks. It is not permitted to use these trademarks for any personal purposes whatsoever. The Boney user undertakes not to reproduce, copy, sell, exchange or transfer all or part of the Boney services under any circumstances. The user also undertakes not to hide or modify our services (such as the Boney brand).
